MIt is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Softball Coach to lead the high school girls' softball team for the 2025-2026 school year. The coach will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the softball program, including planning practices, game preparation, athlete development, community engagement, and ensuring compliance with MIT and Canyon Athletic Association (CAA) policies. The season starts February 2026 and ends April/May 2026. 

 

Must hold or obtain the following certifications one week prior to tryouts:

• Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Valid Driver's License
• 39-Month Motor Vehicle Record
• CPR/AED & First Aid Certification
• NFHS Certifications
• Must attend preseason coaching meetings and complete required training 
• Must be approved by EEF or RESD to drive district vehicles
• Ability to supervise students and maintain a positive, professional presence on and off the field
